Falmouth Harbor Sailing School is supported by student tuition and generous donations from individuals and local organizations. All sailors are welcome to participate, and members of the FYC are eligible for a membership discount.  

The purpose of the School is to educate young sailors, ages 7-18, on sailing techniques and knowledge of the sport. Private lessons for adults and/or children are available upon request.   

The school maintains an up-to-date fleet of boats which are available for student to use during class and the weekly race series.

Races are held on Fridays and are optional but highly encouraged to help sailors aspire to race competitively. Some of the topics covered include advanced boat handling technique, race tactics, strategies, and the Rules of Racing.
