Wednesday Twilight Learn to Race

Falmouth Harbor Sailing School hosts the Wednesday Twilight Learn to Race.
The lessons will be for sailors who enjoy sailing and who want to learn how to race. Less experienced sailors are welcome, but some sailing experience is highly recommended. Lessons will be held in stable and comfortable Sonar class sailboats. Rigging of boats starts at 4 pm, and the boats leave the dock at 5 pm, getting back before sunset. Chalk talks before racing and coaches’ debriefs afterwards provide tips for the sailors to sharpen their skills.
Individuals as well as families are welcome. Some sailing experience is recommended, but no previous racing experience is needed. The emphasis is to have fun, not to win the races, but some participants think it is more fun to win.
The cost is $40/night for FYC members, $50/night for non-members.

Lessons begin on 7/2 (note the first lesson will be on a Tuesday due to the 4th of July holiday) through 8/14
